Community Partnerships

The following are community organizations FETCH has previously/currently collaborated with:

1. The UH Master Gardeners on completing various agricultural projects at  the Energy House and Hale Tuahine Farm and within the Manoa community.

2. The Student Parents at Manoa (SPAM) organization by hosting a booth at their annual Ohana Resource Fair on 11/6/19 at UH Manoa Campus Center Courtyard.

3. The Special Education Center of Hawaii (SECOH) by providing opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to build their gardening skills at Hale Tuahine Farm.

4. Halau Ku Mana (an accredited public charter school serving students in grades 4-12) by providing a number of their middle and high school students the opportunity tow participate in the Youth Sustainable Sciences Internship Program and visit Hale Tuahine Farm to learn various skills in aquaponics and sustainable gardening.

We hope to continue to partner with more community organizations in the areas of ATOD abuse prevention in youth and families, providing healthy parenting strategies and teaching useful, skill-building work in sustainable gardening.
